Cheap Fuel in Cambridgeshire

Why We Do This

A few pence a litre doesn't sound much — until you see what it adds up to across Cambridgeshire. With about 933,972 people living in Cambridgeshire, even 10% of them saving 1p a litre would keep about £658,000 a year in local pockets — and at 5p a litre, about £3.2 million.

That's money that can be spent with local businesses, on the weekly shop, or put aside for something special. Helping that happen is the whole point of this site.

Based on: population 933,972 (ONS, mid-2024; summed from its councils; via citypopulation.de); 6,200 miles a year for an average petrol car (DfT National Travel Survey 2024, NTS0901); 40 mpg (our assumption) = about 704 litres a year each. Figures rounded down.
